Jackie Rock, CPC-I, joined our team at Discovery Academy in 2005 after completing her Master’s Degree in professional counseling and receiving a BS in psychology and sociology at Weber State University. Jackie is CLAS Ropes Certified as a facilitator and regularly takes students to our experiential campus in Mapleton , Utah. Her experience in working with youth in residential treatment settings consists of working as residential staff, facilitating experiential and life skills groups, conducting individual and family therapy, and residential administration. She also worked for the state of Utah with court ordered clients and foster children. Her wide range of experience in therapeutic residential settings has aided in developing the skills needed to provide therapy and the insight needed to work with youth. Jackie enjoys the outdoors, athletics, movies, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
