Phil Scoville

Phil has worked as a therapist in different settings in Utah and California since 2003, including 2 years in wilderness therapy programs and therapeutic residential settings. Prior to that, he earned his BS degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and then entered graduate school at Loma Linda University, where he earned his MS degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at BYU and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. At Discovery Academy, Phil’s emphasis is on substance abuse and the treatment of anxiety disorders. Phil is married with three children. When he's not working or trying to keep up with his young family, Phil enjoys snowboarding, hiking, waterskiing, and football. He also has a passion for music, mostly indie-rock.
