Mari was born in Minnesota and moved to Utah at a young age where she grew up 8th in a family of 10 children. Mari and her husband have owned Art Galleries in Santa Fe, NM and Park City, UT and a Custom Picture Frame Manufacturing business. She was first introduced into the industry when she was hired as the Office Manager at Discovery Ranch when they first opened. She quickly gained a love for both the students and the parents she was privileged to work with. She began working at Discovery Academy as the Director of Admissions in September of 2006. She has so enjoyed getting to know both the industry and Educational Consultants as well as helping parents find appropriate placement for their most prized possessions, their children.

Mari and her husband live in Springville, UT and have 4 wonderful children and two amazing grandchildren, who are of course their most prized possessions.
