Laura Eliker

Laura Elliker is the Residential Director and has been with Discovery Academy since 1992. Starting as a mentor, Laura then served as the Girls Program Coordinator for more than ten years and has been the Residential Director for over five years. Laura is responsible for a large department of dedicated mentors and the development of student daily programming. Believing that building relationships is a key principle to working with youth, Laura has developed programming including community service, theater, athletic teams and student clubs where the students and staff work together and build supportive relationships. Laura is originally from Reno, Nevada and enjoys traveling and antiquing with family, snowboarding and boating. Laura is currently completing her degree in Behavioral Science.
