Kristi started working at Discovery Academy, in the Girls’ Concept Room, in May of 2000 and has been working in various areas of the school ever since. She has a Bachelors of Arts in History from Brigham Young University. Kristi believes in Discovery Academy. She loves watching the students make positive changes in their lives. There is something about seeing a student when they first arrive filled with defiance and hopelessness and watching them stand up, take responsibility for their actions and grow in ways they never thought were possible so that when they leave they are respectful and their eyes are filled with the infinite possibilities that they now realize are open to them, that never gets old to her. The possibility that she can be even a small part of that change is why she works here. She enjoys good books, excellent music and most all musical theater.
