E. Gene Shumway, Ph.D.

Dr. Shumway is a respected clinician and professor with more than 40 years experience helping troubled teens. He has served as a child welfare worker, juvenile corrections caseworker, family therapist, medical social worker, and professor of social work for the University of Utah and Brigham Young University. Dr. Shumway has been affiliated with Discovery Academy for more than nine years.
